Onchan Primary School

Dear Mike

Just wanted to pass the thanks of all the staff and children at Onchan School for all your hard work during your recent visit. We had a great two days and many of the staff have been heard to comment that your visit was one of the best they've had at Onchan. Your songs and the sounds of harmonicas and jewsharps having been echoing around the school since you left - staff as well as children have been heard practising!

Although it is hard to pick a highlight, the Family Evening has to be it for me. seeing parents, teachers and children singing, dancing and having fun was wonderful. Several parents have since commented to me how much they enjoyed their children teaching them to play the autoharp. The workshops were also a huge success. It is so rare for children to actually have a "hands-on" session and all staff were impressed by how quickly the children learnt. When our children look back on their primary school years, I am sure your visit is one thing they'll remember fondly.

I have enclosed some pictures drawn by the children. They were asked to record what they remembered of your visit: they all found it easy to think of something.

Dear Mr Fenton

Thank you so much for the wonderful day which you gave us on Friday. Everyone enjoyed your day with us and I'm sure that all the children will remember your visit for a very log time to come.

I was most impressed with your enthusiasm and professionalism and your total dedication to your work. The workshop was entertaining and gave the children a great deal of knowledge.

The concert in the evening was one of the most enjoyable events that we have put on at the school, and I would like to thank you for oroviding such a memorable event. The way you involved staff, pupils and parents was extremely satisfying to everyone.
